Ana EGAN is a London-based painter working exclusively with oil on hand-prepared linen canvas. From stretched and primed linen to the final painted surface, each piece has a refined, premium finish.
Her paintings are bold, playful, and fun. Using soft pastel palettes and simplified forms, EGAN creates surreal everyday scenes where food, interiors, and objects shift into something slightly unexpected. Bananas, oysters, cigarettes, tiled floors, and domestic spaces reappear as visual motifs, forming a distinct visual universe.
At first glance, the work feels made to live easily in a space. At the same time, there is always a subtle twist, an unusual combination or a quiet tension that gives each piece its own character.
EGAN’s paintings are designed for contemporary interiors and not only. They bring colour, humour, and a strong visual identity into a room while remaining accessible and easy to collect.
